I'm participating in Susan's Between Naps on the Porch, Metamorphosis Monday and Rhonda's Southern Hospitality's Thrifty Monday. There are amazing things to see, be sure to check them out!
I have a few little transformations for you, all thrifty treasures: a thrifty silver plated tray ~ before...
...now ~ after... holding a vintage set of combs and brushes. It's placed in my bedroom, just for "looks"
Another silver plated tray ~ before
~ after... as a gorgeous centerpiece for my table.
This little wooden tray ~ before...
...now ~ after...It was spray painted flat black. I like it so much better. It's sitting on thrifty easel in my kitchen. I used card stock from my last thrifty find, printed Welcome, and glued that to the bottom. It's a cozy little corner.
Enjoy your Monday!
Your silver pieces are just stunning and what a fabulous idea for the tray. I love it. Great ideas. Hugs, Marty

Love all of your finds. The silver looks gorgeous all cleaned up! Your tray transformation was awesome. The vision to take that sad little tray and turn it into that beautiful Welcome sign....great job.

ReplyDeleteVery cute tray! I'm just so glad you didn't make a chalkboard project out of it;-) Although they look neat, chalk makes me have the creeps!

ReplyDeleteI have a silver hair brush set..and it never occured me to put it on a silver tray..and I have just the tray! Thank you for the cute idea!
wow --I love that little welcome thing you did--charming and homey. How did you get the silver so shiny---sometimes with old pieces there are black spots or areas that don't come clean even with polish--or is that just silver plated things?
ReplyDeleteLovely silver! And love what you did with the tray!
ReplyDeleteGreat way to reuse the tray!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit. :)
