Thrifty Finds...

I'm joining Rhonda at Southern Hospitality for Thrifty Monday. Be sure to visit her site for amazing weekend finds!

I was looking for a small lamp to place in a dark corner of my kitchen. When I saw this little guy, I liked what he had to offer, I just wasn't sure about the color. Not too sure about the shade either...hm...too big? too square? recover?

I hadn't been thrifting for a couple of weeks, so I was picking up more than usual {making up for lost time?} Normally, I pass on the pictures, but something about this frame caught my eye. Maybe the inside could stay...it was punched tin ~ kinda neat. The wooden candle stick would be versatile...to paint or not to paint...The Christmas sleigh was just too cheap to pass by. Inside are two votive glasses I plan on tweaking a bit. I've started collecting a few pink things, the little dish and saucer will be a fun addition to my mother's Desert Rose set.

I've discovered that I have serious issues with organization. I love to organize things...and then reorganize until it's user friendly. I guess it's because of this habit that I'm drawn to shelving. Throw in amazing prices and it comes home with me. This wicker shelf was $1.99. It was sturdy and fairly clean. The metal shelf, also $1.99,  had great bones...I just love the curves. And the little sconces? I loved their curves too! They were $0.99 each. What was I going to do with them? Where would I hang them? What color should they be painted? Too many decisions for this day, I'll just think about that tomorrow.

Thanks for dropping by, enjoy your Monday!
