What's your favorite part about tablescapes?
Is it the dishes,
flatware,
stemware,
centerpieces?
My answer would be, it depends.
However, I do know that collecting has been a great part of the whole
tablescaping adventure.
As we all know, inspiration can be found just about anywhere!
Enjoy this week's table!
I'm joining Susan over at Between Naps on the Porch for her Tablescape Thursday.
Drop by and visit, there is loads of inspiration!

Your table is stunning, the gorgeous peacock takes center stage, I love it!!! The stack of dishes are also lovely. My fav part of tablescaping is of course, dishes! Than I can work with everything else I love, because I actually LOVE EVERYTHING about setting a table and yes the collecting part! Thanks for sharing, I like your post!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend ahead.

what a beautiful post. I love those peacock chargers, and how everything works together so well. So creative!
ReplyDeleteI have been inspired by these placemats since I first saw them, but never sprang for them. They are so gorgeous. I love the peacock inspiration and you have done a beautiful table.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous table, Sharlotte! I love the way you've fanned the napkins to echo the peacock's tail! And you can't beat that wonderful deep blue for eye candy. For me, tablescapes are mostly about the dishes. I love seeing all the gorgeous china patterns in Blogland! But sometimes other elements are the inspiration for tables I set. I love to see pretty linens, too, and interesting centerpieces, like yours today!
ReplyDeleteLove this table....the peacock feathers are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI am so in love with this table! That peacock is gorgeous and you have carried out the theme beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThe blues and greens together are beautiful! Of course, the gold chargers accent everything warm and golden in your tablescape. Love those peacocks!!! I enjoyed the beauty of it all. :-)

I have to make sure my sister sees this one. She hasn't had much time to spend on the computer lately (me either!) so she might have missed it. She will adore the peacock them. She actually has a peacock and saves the feathers. This is just beautiful, so rich and warm. I'm tempted to call it kind of majestic but I don't want to get all gushy or anything. Grin.
ReplyDeleteOh I love your tablescape! I am like you...it all depends....Most of the time I start out with a centerpiece and try to work around it. But a lot of times I start with my plates! I love all kinds of tablescapes too...plain, fancy, plastic and real! Love your peacock theme.
