A Simple Table...

I have a confession.

I've been joining Susan and her Tablescape Thursday for over a year,
and
very rarly,
do I actually
"use"
the tables I set.
BUT
with this table setting...
I do use,
honestly.
It's simple.
Just for the two of us.

A place for us to sit and talk about our day.

Add a simple centerpiece.

And a couple of simple candles.

And this simple couple is
happy.

Please drop by to visit Susan over at Between Naps on the Porch for amazing tables and loads of inspiration.

Thanks for visiting, enjoy your day!

  1. I love your simple table setting. My dishes I use every day are white. My mother always taught me that food looks best on a white dish! I love the basket weave design on yours. Really pretty!

  2. I adore your ceramic pumpkins and the surprise of the little starfish popped in there. This looks like a great everyday setting.

  5. I love your tablescape. I think it is the perfect place to sit and unwind and share your day with the person you love most. And those dishes are just so cute! I have Nantucket, and I keep looking at all of the other white patterns to compare the texture of the patterns. Those are SO cute, and they really make more of a statement because of the depth of the pattern. I'm glad you invited us in to share your table for two!

    Happy Tablescape Thursday...

    XO,

  10. You do always create the most beautiful tables - but it is just so nice to see a simple and useful - beautiful table that anyone could enjoy. The white dishes are exquisite.

  12. Hi Sharlotte...

I love your table, my friend! Even though it's just the two of you, you have still managed to set a very warm and cozy table...it's lovely! I must confess as well (shhhh...) I rarely use the tables in my tablescapes as well! wink! But I sooo enjoy setting a pretty table and I enjoy playing dishes! Hehe! I really do love this set of everyday dishes that you use! The pretty basketweave lends such beautiful texture and interest to your table! Love it!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful table with us...it's such a treat, my friend!

Warmest Thanksgiving wishes to you and yours...
