This week's table is all about trying to stay cool
This week's table is all about trying to stay cool
during these warm summer days.
I have a few little friends joining me,
Mr. Cockatiel and his buddies.
They are always a favorite!
Enjoy!
His sweet little face makes me smile!
I'm feeling better already!
I'm joining Susan over at Between Naps on the Porch for her Tablescape Thursday.
Be sure to by for loads of inspiration!
Until next time,
Sharlotte
Lots of fun little bits here! Love your lace napkins and those wonderful chargers. Are they shell? All the natural details are great too - the shells, the rope, the basket weave placemat. Not sure I'm calling any of it the right thing but that's what it looks like to me. And of course your bird adds a nice touch of whimsy... :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Lory! Thanks so much for dropping by. I'm so glad you liked the table and the natural elements. Yes, those chargers are capiz shells, I purchased them from Pier 1 Imports. I've enjoyed using them, they are so versatile.
DeleteYour lil cockatiel is so cute, and looks so neat on your table, especially along with the plates, so cute.
ReplyDeleteNice place setting................very tropical and inviting........
Thanks for sharing this fun table.
Blessings, nellie

Hi Christine, thanks so much for the sweet comments. This set is indeed a favorite of mine, I love their sweet little faces!
DeleteThose plates are wonderful! Still not typing much due to rotator surgery.
ReplyDeleteHi Bev, thanks for visiting...I hope you feel better very soon. I know this is a tough surgery!
DeleteThis is so pretty! The cockatiel is my favorite part of all. I love the way he looks against the palm plant in particular. You have such an eye for the extraordinary when it comes to tables, IMO. I wouldn't have thought to add that to the table, and it totally MAKES the table.
ReplyDeleteHey Debbie! I agree, the cockatiel pitcher is also my favorite, it's his little smile that makes me smile. Thanks for all the sweet comments!
Deletewhat a refreshing, pretty, tropical blend!! Love it!!
