I'm am so excited! This next Sunday, July 4th, we are having a special service at church. Col. Jeff Williams, a Gloria Dei member, will be our guest speaker. He's an astronaut that has spent two missions on the International Space Station. He's such a great guy, really "down to earth"...ha...We have an amazing service lined up: traditional patriotic music plus a musical salute to the armed forces led by the Festival Choir and concert band. And I've heard that there will even be streamers expoding! After the services there will be home~made apple strudel and ice cream.
