All Things Blue and relaxing!

I'm joining Smiling Sally for her Blue Monday. Be sure to stop by for all things "blue"!

While we were on vacation, resting and relaxing, I decided to see what all I could find that was blue. Some pictures are from the ship while others were taken in Progreso and Cozumel, Mexico.
Enjoy!

Little combos greeted us at the piers...with their tip "jar".

Gorgeous, crystal clear blue water...amazing!

Bright, blue neon lights...everywhere!

Living near Galveston, our water is more green and murky from sediment. These waters were crystal clear!

The weather was gorgeous...the blue skies were a crowning glory each day.

The beaches were refreshing...the blue shade was welcoming!

We wondered if the blue neon lights made us so relaxed that we made ONE more trip through the buffet line! ...Hm...surely this couldn't be the reason my clothes shrunk a bit!

These blue neon signs automatically drew you to the cool patio pool!

Even blue tiles were placed on the walls.

The blue carpet led the way to your cabin...

...and blue panels on the walls that greeted you when you left your cabin.

We saw so many wonderful, colorful sights when shopping.

And as we left...we all felt a little blue to be leaving such a warm and relaxing place.

I hope you are having a terrific Monday...enjoy your day!
Thanks for visiting!
Adios!!

Love ya, blue...

Love ya, blue used to be the Houston saying for our previous football team, the Houston Oilers. They have since moved to Tennessee and are now the Titans.

That has absolutely nothing to do with this post...it's just what popped into my head when I was trying to think of something catchy for a title. All of this to say that I wanted to share with you all out there in blogland that I have fallen in love with a set of blue dishes... in fact, head over heals in love.

Here they are: Johnson Brothers Old Britain Castles ~ Blue

This is the dinner plate, it measures 10 inches in diameter and features Blarney Castle. I just love the rim with all its scrolls and petite flowers.

The salad plates are 8 inches in diameter and feature Chatsworth Castle.

The cup and saucer feature Ludlow Castle on one side and Nottingham Castle on the other.

The soup bowl measures 9 inches in diameter and features Windsor Castle.

And for those of you who adore pink, the pattern is also available in that color as well!

Hm... it's very pretty too!
Oh, man...decisions, decisions...

Today I'm linking with Smiling Sally's Blue Monday. Be sure to stop by for a visit for all things blue!

Enjoy your Monday!

Pretty Little Horse!

Last weekend, we visited my son and daughter~in~law in Dallas. They live in a loft that has a gallery in the lobby. It's a large space, perfect for artists to show their wares. For the past several months, this glass carousel horse has been displayed.
It's about four feet tall and very impressive!

(click on picture for a closer shot)
It's actually made from glass crystals.

Here's a better view.

The artist was meticulous...

...and talented.
Even though the horse's eye is very sharp, it looks soft and tender.

It's quite a conversation starter!

Enjoy your Monday!

Please visit Sally for her Blue Monday party. It's impressive too!

Peaceful Blue...

This week, I'd like to share something from my church's courtyard. In this tiny space is a reflecting place with a mosaic cross. It is so pretty, peaceful and calming for anyone needing a bit of solitude.

If you'd like to see more amazing blue items, head over to Smiling Sally's Blue Monday.
Enjoy your Monday.
