Are you Ready for Fall?

After reading and looking through gorgeous blogs out in blogland, I've been inspired to set a fall table. Our weather is still in the high 80's, but in spirit, I'm ready!
So to all of you out there reading this post...
Happy Fall Y'all!

In case you wanted to know:

dishes: Westerly Basket from Bed Bath and Beyond
flatware: Prelude by International
table runner: Ebay
crystal: Navarre by Lenox
napkin rings: recovered thrift finds
napkins: World Market
pheasants, salt and pepper: antique shop
small pumpkins: Dollar Store
wooden centerpiece: thrifted

I'm joining Susan's Tablescape Thursday over at Between Naps on the Porch. Be sure to stop by to be truly inspired!

  1. Sharlotte, I think this table is autumn elegance! I'm crazy about those white pheasants. I have been looking for some things like that. I'm thinking I'll have to find some and spray paint them or something.

I REALLY noticed that flatware. All of mine is so plain. I love it! If I were picking it out now, that's the kind of thing I would pick.

    Just plain beautiful...

  2. Soooo your THRIFTY napkin rings! Happy Fall!

  3. What a gorgeous table - this is one of the most beautiful fall table settings that I have seen - it is simply elegant! Love it - thanks for the lovely photos!

  4. I love your stemware and your flatware is the same pattern as my baby spoon and fork. I still have mine and think it is so sweet.

  5. So pretty!!!! I love it all. The colors are subtle and elegant.

  6. Your use of white and brown was inspired! I love tables that are seasonal without being too obvious. This is lovely. I would be thrilled to be seated at this table. And your centerpiece is gorgeous!

  7. Hello, Sharlotte! Your table is beautiful, and I am just gushing over the pheasants!!! It's all so pretty!!!

  8. This is gorgeous, Sharlotte!

  9. Sharlotte, what a pretty table! I particularly enjoyed seeing how you used your white dishes for a fall table. I have Nantucket, and I was just looking at it and thinking I wanted to try a fall tablescape with it. Your china has such a nice depth to the detail that is actually lacking on the Nantucket plates. It has detail, but just not quite as defined. I love that about yours. And I love your white pheasants and those cute, cute napkin rings. I recgonized the Prelude as someone gave me a jelly server in that pattern once. Very pretty! And so is your crytal.

    Happy Tablescape Thursday...

    Sheila :-)

  10. How lovely! Your pretty white china and gorgeous crystal really make for a gorgeous table, especially with the fall colors of the runner. I love the color of your dining room walls!

  11. The browns and the creams work together so well in your Autumn tablescape. Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Cherry Kay

  12. It's really a very delightful table. Quite elegantly put together. I love the cream and the brown, it's quite beautiful.

  13. That pheasant is a sassy looking fella and the stemware is beautiful. Everything looks lovely and fallish. It's still in the 80s here too but the mornings do feel fallish.

  14. I love the simple elegance of your color scheme. The runner is gorgeous!
